Day 1 of 7 Days Kenya Safari Holiday: Arrive in Nairobi – Transfer to Samburu National Park

Upon arrival, you will be ushered in by our safari representative who will offer the necessary briefing or you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi in the morning after your breakfast.

You will then set off by road to Samburu Game Reserve located in the Northern Frontier District, arriving at a time for lunch at Ashnil Samburu Camp which is located in a rugged landscape against a backdrop of jagged mountains, this park offers a natural scenery of mountains and a meandering river which makes it easy for animal sporting as they come to drink water from the river.

Have some time to relax and in the afternoon set off for another game drive in the expansive Samburu Game Reserve. You will then wind up your day with dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 2 of 7 Days Kenya Safari Holiday: Full day activities – game drive and Culture – Samburu National Reserve

You will be served a morning breakfast meal and the rest of the day will be dedicated to an adventurous Samburu Game Reserve in search of wild game. Samburu is a host to big herds of elephants, other unique wildlife species are also very commonly sighted in this part of the wilderness.

The Uaso Nyiro River is a great point of concentration and interest to both visitors and wildlife. It forms the lifeline of this great reserve and most animals cannot keep away from it as they come to drink water from the river. We shall wind up with our day late in the evening with dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3 of 7 Days Kenya Safari Holiday: Transfer to Aberdare National Reserve – Full-day activities

Your day unveils with early morning breakfast and thereafter drive back towards Mount Kenya and head to the Aberdares Ranges arriving at Aberdare Country Club at lunchtime. A perfect moment to relax and rejuvenate from the tiring journey after your lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to The Ark Forest Lodge for overnight game viewing.

The Ark is nestled deep in the forests of Aberdares National Park on the path of an ancient elephant migratory route between the Aberdares Mountains and Mount Kenya and is strategically located right in front of a watering hole and salt lick.

The forest is home to many wildlife species including elephants, rhinos, warthogs, bush pigs, giant forest hogs, waterbucks, duikers, bongos, and reedbucks. After full-day adventures in the wild, you will return to the park for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Nakuru National Park – Full-day game activities

This is yet another day to discover more of the wild treasures and it unfolds with you having your breakfast at The Ark before driving to the Great Rift Valley arriving at the perfect time for lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp which is located inside Lake Nakuru National Park.

You will have some time to relax after your meal as you wait to set off for an afternoon game drive in this world-famous wildlife habitat, offering a wide ecological diversity, ranging from the lakeshore, woodlands, and Savannah plains to rocky escarpments and ridges.

During the afternoon game drive, you will explore a lot of wildlife and also get a chance to capture these moments on camera. You will then return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Park

You will be served your breakfast before departing from the Great Rift Valley as we head out to Maasai Mara, which is world-famous and Kenya’s premier game reserve. Every traveler deserves a chance to encounter this enchanting wildlife within this park. Arrive at lunchtime at Ilkeliani Tented Camp which is nestled in a river glade in an area where elephants love to come and drink from the Talek River.

After a warm welcome and a delightful lunch, you will set off for the game drive with our professional driver guide in Mara, the ancestral home to the Maasai people. Have some time to interact with the Masai native dwellers and get to know some core facts about their traditional way of life! You will then return to the park for your dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6: Breakfast – Maasai Mara – Full day game

You will be served your morning breakfast and get ready for whole-day game drives. You will need to go along with a packed picnic lunch that you will have while on the game drive in the wild. While in the Masai Mara reserve wilderness, you will engage in activities like visiting the Mara River where thousands of wildebeests and zebras are attacked by crocodiles as they attempt to cross this mighty river during the annual migration between Tanzania and Kenya.

The annual migration sees over one million wild animals move from Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Upon return, you will have your dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

If you will be staying in Nairobi, please request assistance at the time of booking this Kenya safari holiday to allow us ample time to make prior arrangements.

If departing Nairobi the same night, please note that by both uses of charter flight or by road returns to Nairobi are always in the late morning approximately 1100hrs/1200hrs by charter flight or 1600hrs by road.
