The trip will cover 3 National parks of Rwanda that is Akagera, volcanoes, and Nyungwe Forest National Parks starting from Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda!

Day 1 of the 7 Days Best Rwanda wildlife Safari, Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking safari: Pick up and Transfer to Akagera National Park.
After your breakfast, our professional guide will pick you from your hotel or Kigali international airport and drive towards Akagera National Park with your lunch en-route. Akagera National Park covers 2500 square kilometers of savannah located in the north east of Rwanda.
The park owns variety of wildlife with over 480 bird species. Elephants and buffalo herds will be seen grazing in open savanna grasslands and dozens of different antelopes. The park also harbors lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, giraffes, zebras and among very many others.
After a long journey of about 3 hours, you will check in to the lodge/ hotel for relaxation and later you will go for a long game drive in the national park. Later you will return and stay at your booked lodge/ hotel where a nice dinner will be served.
Day 2 of 7 Days Best Rwanda wildlife Safari, Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking safari: Morning game drive and Akagera River Boat Ride.
Early morning breakfast will be served before setting off for a game drive in the park in search for wildlife. Animals like lions, leopards, African elephants, different species of antelopes, zebras, buffaloes among others will all be seen in the savannah grasslands of Akagera national park.
After this breathe taking morning game drive encounter, you will return to the lodge/ hotel for lunch and then later go for a boat ride in the afternoon on Akagera River for the best photographic moments, watching hippos and crocodiles sunbathing on the river shores and very many water birds along the river. Later you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.
Day 3 of the 7 Days Best Rwanda wildlife Safari, Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking safari: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park for Chimp Trekking.
After your morning breakfast, you will set off to Nyungwe Forest National Park via Kigali city with lunch en-route. Nyungwe forest is one of the largest forests in East and Central Africa.
Nyungwe is abundantly endowed with flora and fauna that includes 13 primate species like, Colobus monkeys, mangabeys, blue monkeys, and our closest cousins’ chimpanzees.
Nyungwe forest is also a home of many bird species and it’s known as bird- watching destination with over 300 birds recorded on the checklist.
On the way to Nyungwe forest National Park after Kigali city, you will have stopover at Butare which is Rwanda’s second largest city where you will be able to find a museum which holds every piece of information you need to know about Rwanda’s political history, culture and religion.
You will also be able to visit the former king’s palace called Nyabisindu where you will enjoy thrilling performance by the National Ballet and the native Intore dancers.
Thereafter you will proceed to check in at the lodge/ hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 of the 7 Days Best Rwanda wildlife Safari, Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking safari: Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk.
After a morning breakfast meal, our professional tour guide will pick you up for chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe forest national park. You will be offered all the necessary briefing about how you should conduct yourself while out in the jungle.
The park claims 13 species of primates and it is mainly known for chimpanzee trekking. After a short briefing, you will leave to find chimpanzees and on this trek expect to find very many species of birds and very many different monkeys.
After a memorial and a successful trek, you will leave to the hotel/ lodge for lunch. After lunch, the guide will drive you to Nyungwe National Park for a canopy walk where you will see different monkey species and birds. Later evening you will return to the lodge/ hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.
Breakfast will be served early in the morning at the lodge/ hotel, and later be transferred by our professional to volcanoes national park with lunch en-route.
Volcanoes National park is located in Northwestern Rwanda and it covers land area of 160 square kilometers of rainforest and it encompasses 5-8 volcanoes in the Virunga Mountains. Volcanoes national park is a home to the mountain gorillas, Golden monkeys and many bird species.
The journey will take approximately 5 hours depending on the stopovers. Later you will check in at the lodge/ hotel for refreshment. Later in the evening you may decide to go for an evening walk or stay at the hotel for refreshments.
Later dinner will be served at the hotel followed overnight stay.
Breakfast will be served very early in the morning of this day before our professional drive transfers you to the park headquarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas.
You will be assigned to a team of rangers to offer you security while on the trail looking for the endangered mountain gorillas.
You will be given maximum of an hour to be with animals, ask questions about the gorillas and take pictures and videos of gorillas.
After a successful gorilla trekking, you will return to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking certificates and later return to the lodge/ hotel for lunch. After lunch you may opt to go for an evening community walk, birding or monkey watching.
Later you will return to the lodge/ hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
This being the last day of our safari, you will have to wake up not as early as other days! You will be met by morning breakfast served at the lodge/ hotel and later your guide will transfer you to Kigali International airport to catch a departure flight1
