Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, transfer to Ruhengeri

On arrival at Kanombe International Airport, you will be met by one of our staff who will shortly introduce you to your Rwanda Gorilla Tour. You will then begin your transfer to the Ruhengeri Volcanic National Park with a guide.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for registration and distribution of mountain gorilla groups. You quickly learn the rules of the gorillas and then go into the forest in search of gorillas accompanied by a ranger. You will go to Mount Virunga Volcano and the Green Valley to look for gorillas. The activities are a little tiring, but once you encounter the gorillas, you will surely forget all the trouble you went through to see the gorillas.

After getting to know the gorillas, you will spend an hour with them, giving you the opportunity to take pictures. You will then return to your lodge to relax with the experience and memories of your gorilla trek. In the evening, visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo for a cultural experience.
