Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters by 7:00 am for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. You’ll be assigned to a gorilla family based on your fitness level and guided deep into the forest, following trails created by the primates themselves.
The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. As you walk through the dense forest canopy, you may encounter other forest dwellers such as duikers, primates, and numerous bird species. Once the gorillas are located, you are allowed a magical one-hour experience observing them feed, groom, and interact—a truly humbling encounter.
